In this interview James Scott talks about how he made a film in the late sixties about and with the artist Richard Hamilton. As a visual artist Hamilton derived a lot of inspiration from the mass media and movies in particular. He was therefore willing to collaborate closely with Scott in the making of this film. Perhaps this was in fact the solution to his opening statement ‘I don’t like art films’.
